NK Projects
NK Projects realizes projects that are independent in style and content. Every project starts with a creative journey and cooperation with partners, who are curious to discover new things and believe in the wide range of artistic possibilities.

Artistically and politically, NK Projects views itself as a creative space without boundaries, as a transcultural and multilingual laboratory that brings together groups of filmmakers and artists who want to explore the very essence of film and performing arts.

We spend a significant part of our time researching and developing new creative approaches and production methods and testing these in the field.

In our acting workshops at the NK Studio, we search for the very core of performative energy, unconstrained by socio-conventional contexts or language barriers.

Our CineLine project explores and develops strategies to enable successful releases in today’s film industry.

NK Projects was founded by filmmaker Nina Kusturica. Over the past 12 years, she has been involved in producing seven feature films, several short films, promotional films and TV documentaries, some of which were released by her production company.

NK projects’ main goal is to produce works of art that connect, inspire and make people sit up and think.

NK Projects works with all major Austrian culture and film funding institutions as well as international broadcasters, sales agents and distribution companies.
